A person's belief re-routes signals in the brain, and the brain's synapses will restructure according to how a person considers. When a person relies on making strong determinations, they are short-circuiting the travel of signals in the brain. When this goes on as a habit, the brain de-links some of its synaptic connections, and re-routes them. This can lead to dead spaces in the brain, and loss of mental articulation, empathy, detail-awareness...
The mechanism of sociopathism is the making, by act of will, truth-circumventing determinations.
To make a determination, a mind must have been presented with options, and when a determination was made, Reason’s principle enacted, separating some considerations from others, saying ‘if these, then not the others’. The mind then de-linked some associations between considerations, and that de-linking of considerations was paralleled in the brain by disconnecting some synaptic connections.
This can be done to an extent that eventually manifests activity-dead areas in the brain, but it can also be done regularly without leading to observable dead spaces in the brain.
Because dopamine is responsible for transmitting information across synapses, and because every considering requires a measurement of dopamine-availability to process, making a determination also causes some allocated dopamine to release. Some have found it personally accommodating to call this ‘Reward’ (for what, being a good dog?), but it actually is the crux of sociopathic brain-wiring. 'Reward' is interchangeable with Sociopathism.
Ironically, for the academic dogma that there is a reward circuit in the brain, or the concept of dopamine-as-reward to have arisen, there required sociopathic perceptions to project the abstract and choice of 'Reward' upon the subjects of their observations. People in professions that are based in making of lots of determinations, like doctor, or scientist, are particularly vulnerable to sociopathism.
And while recent professional opinion on the prevalence of sociopathism in society volunteered maybe less than 5% of people as qualifying, the likely reality is that 50%+ of people have notable presence of sociopathic circuit-wiring, with greater concentration of them being in determination-making professions.
